An old Scottish variety. The very unusual large, very pale whitish yellow fruits have a rich sweet-sharp flavour and keep some of their shape when cooked. It is a heavy cropping, moderately vigorous tree. For picking in September and use until November. An excellent desert apple later on in season. Pollinate with Red Falstaff, Red Devil, Sunset, Herefrodshire Russet, Saturn, Redsleeves, Destivale etc.
